Hello, my name is Rachel, I’m a Registered Midwife and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant based in Waterford, as well as the proud mum of two beautiful breastfed children. I am dedicated to protecting and promoting physiological birth and breastfeeding. My passion for supporting women and their families on their unique journeys through pregnancy, birth and postpartum began as a midwife but was truly ignited after my own personal experiences in maternity care and breastfeeding. I have experienced two very contrasting births, one in hospital and one at home. Both of my breastfeeding experiences have also been quite different. No two women or babies are the same which is why I am dedicated to providing individuaIised care tailored to meet the needs of my clients.
